Nintendo has posted a peculiar live-action video, The Dark Alley, that showcases the Nintendo 3DS exclusive role-playing game Bravely Default's two main combat interactions.

Players will be able to use between two tactics, according to their overall strategy and encounter at-hand. The Default action will shield characters and store actions for later, and the Brave action will unleash multiple actions in order to take down enemies, risking greater punishment from foes.

The game uses turn-based combat and multi-hit combos, with the innovative Brave/Default risk/reward system being its most prominent feature. Bravely Default is very similar to other classical Square Enix games such as Final Fantasy 4, including the in-game job system.

Square Enix's Bravely Default is scheduled to release exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console in North America today, and is already available in Japan and Europe.
