Jonathan Blow, the independent developer behind classics like Braid or the upcoming The Witness, has heavily criticized Microsoft's claim of boosting the Xbox One's power with the cloud system, as well as the 300,000 Xbox Live servers that were cited by the company.

Blow has made a name for himself not just by creating great games but also by being very vocal about certain issues.

The developer has now targeted Microsoft in a series of Twitter messages, in which he believes that Microsoft's claims that it can improve the Xbox One's processing power through the cloud is a lie.

What's more, Blow also mentioned that Microsoft is also lying in terms of having over 300,000 servers dedicated to the Xbox Live service for the Xbox one, claiming that those servers are actually virtual instead of dedicated.

Microsoft hasn't commented on these accusations, nor has it actually detailed how the cloud helps the Xbox One or just what types of servers are the ones powering Xbox Live.
