14 DAY TRIAL // Gearbox Software has officially confirmed the sixth playable character for Borderlands 2, in the form of a new Vault Hunter named Krieg, who's actually a psycho bandit equipped with different melee-focused abilities.

Borderlands 2 was released with four different classes, in the form of the Gunzerker, Siren, Commando, and Assassin. Shortly after its launch, it also received a fifth playable character called the Mechromancer.
Now, after a pretty long wait, Gearbox has presented the sixth playable character at PAX East, in the form of Krieg, a psycho bandit.
The new vault hunter has a distinct melee-focused special ability that enables him to use a buzz axe against enemies, which in turn heals him.
His various skill trees emphasize melee powers and there's even one section that buffs Krieg when he's on fire.
The sixth playable character will be available as a paid DLC in May for $10/€10.
