Borderlands 2 received a compatibility update earlier this week, ahead of the launch of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC. Now, a fresh patch is available for download on the PC and PS3 and will soon appear for the Xbox 360.

Borderlands 2 impressed millions of shooter fans earlier last year and, since then, developer Gearbox Software has continuously released new content for the game, from story-based expansions like Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, to new characters, like Krieg the Psycho

Now, a brand new update has been launched for the PC and PS3 version, and will soon appear for the Xbox 360 edition.

Check out the list of changes below, via Steam.

- Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash after the player had more than 240 missions in their mission log. - Added the ability to preview and purchase add-on characters from the 'New Game' character selection screen and when joining another player's game and choosing your character. - Added un-purchased campaign add-ons to the Fast Travel station list to streamline the ability to purchase the new content. These locations appear with an asterisk next to their names.

The update will be automatically downloaded if you're connected to the Internet.
