Gearbox Software has confirmed that it's going to debut the third Headhunter pack for Borderlands 2 on December 17, in the form of How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day.

Borderlands 2 is no longer receiving full-fledged story-based expansions, but Gearbox Software is continuing to debut much smaller Headhunter DLC packs.

After the first two add-ons, a brand new third one has received a December 17 release date, in the form of How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day.

The DLC takes players on a mission from Marcus, the local arms dealer, to Gingerton, a town that was supposed to get a train filled with guns but, due to the giant Mr. Tinder Snowflake snowman, things didn't go according to plan.

Players can buy the new DLC for $2.99 / £2.39 / €2.99, according to IGN, and score new loot and customization options.
