Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition is set to make its debut in the near future, at least judging by a new listing found on the Steam Database, hinting that developer Gearbox is ready to release its inevitable bundle that consists of Borderlands 2, its four story-based expansions, and other DLC.

Borderlands 2 came out back in September, and developer Gearbox launched a wide variety of add-ons for it, from story-based DLC like the new Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, to bonus characters like Krieg the Psycho, or extra customization options.

Now, after the launch of the fourth and apparently final add-on for Borderlands 2, the studio is getting ready to debut the Game of the Year Edition, just like it did with Borderlands 1.

A listing for the Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition has just been spotted on the Steam Database, as apparently Gearbox set it up so that those with early access can install and try it out.

The special edition includes the core game, its four story expansions, and other DLC like Krieg, the Creature Slaughter Dome, or the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade.

The studio has yet to comment, so an official announcement could be made soon enough.
