PlayStation 4 exclusive hack-and-slash game Bloodborne has gotten a massive 30-minute gameplay video from this year's edition of the Tokyo Game Show, revealing the biggest chunk of gameplay yet to the entire world.

The video comes courtesy of YouTube channel Open World Games, showing 30 full minutes of gameplay and Japanese commentary, from the demo that Sony offered at its booth at Tokyo Game Show.

The game is being developed by From Software, the famed Japanese video maker that also has the moody and punishingly difficult Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls II under its belt, so the bar is set pretty high expectations-wise, especially since Hidetaka Miyazaki, the designer in charge of the first two entries in the series, is also in Bloodborne's director chair.

The action takes place in an ancient, abandoned city, called Yharnam, full of secrets, treasures and death. The city is overrun with a curse that turns most of the inhabitants into crazed monsters, and the player has to navigate the city streets, seeking a fabled remedy said to be able to cure all afflictions.

Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that the game is going to be released on February 5 in Japan, and on February 6 in North America and Europe.
