A brand new video showing off gameplay from the upcoming role-playing game from From Software, Bloodborne, has made its way to the Internet.

The video shows popular Japanese actor Nobuaki Kaneko doing his best to survive within the unforgiving world of Bloodborne, showcasing the Forbidden Woods area of the game.

The game's environments look stellar, creepy and eerie, and they are filled with untold perils, as the video below can attest.

The footage offers us a better look at some of the treacherous traps that we'll encounter in the hack-and-slash game soon. The actor dies a couple of times, which is an image most of us will get burned into our retinas before mastering the game.

The action takes place in a mysterious city, Yharnam, styled in the fashion of Victorian-era London, and its eerie surroundings. The game features a ton of crazy and scary monsters, and relies on a combat system similar to the one used in From Software's previous hits, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

Fast attacks, quick dashes and timely dodges are the key to surviving the dangers of Yharnam, and the developers have also created a ton of interesting weaponry, altering the way engagements are approached.

Bloodborne is coming out on March 24 in North America, March 25 in Europe, and March 26 in Japan, available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system from Sony.
