Bloodborne alpha participants have managed to uncover a secret area in the new test phase and even a special boss fight that includes all sorts of spoilers for the main game. As a result, developer From Software has confirmed that the last period of availability for the trial has been delayed.

Bloodborne launches in February of next year, and in order to allow fans a brief taste of the challenging role-playing game experience, as well as to test its online infrastructure, developer From Software organized a test phase last week, with the game being set to become available during a certain time frame on October 1, October 3, and October 5.

Unfortunately for the studio, on October 3, players uncovered a method to access a secret area in the test phase, which led them to a new zone as well as to special boss fight that hosted one of the game's unique mechanics. I won't spoil it here, but you can figure it out in the video game.

Another user showed the area in action via his Twitch broadcast, and the secret area portion begins at around the 1h39m mark.

In order to prevent players from accessing the new zone, From Software has confirmed on Twitter that the last period of availability for the Bloodborne alpha has been delayed. Unfortunately, no date has been revealed by the studio.
