The development team at Blizzard is currently looking to hire a new 3D weapons artist that will work on an unnamed title, presumably the follow-up to World of Warcraft.

In an ad on Gamasutra, the company says that it is aiming to work with a candidate who is able to create the style for a weapon and then deliver textures for the items they put together.

Blizzard states, “A solid grasp of form, color, and light for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential. The 3D weapons artist should also have experience working with a diverse range of equipment, vehicles, and mechanical characters.”

The studio never mentions the name of the video game on which the 3D weapons artist will work.

The company plans to ship the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo III in 2014 and its big project after that is the MMO that will replace World of Warcraft, which is codenamed Titan.
