14 DAY TRIAL // One of Blizzard's classic games going by the name of Blackthorne, first released in 1994, can now be downloaded for free.
Players now have the chance to head over to Battlenet, make an account, check under the section titled Classic Games and download Blackthorne for PC.
If by any chance you might not know or might have forgotten about it, the game brings players on the planet Tuul where people are separated into two kingdoms – the Androth and the Ka'dra'suul.
Gamers will take the role of Kyle, the son of Androth's ruler, who will be sent to Earth in order to have his life saved. After about 20 years, we encounter a grown-up Kyle, a military mercenary that discovers who he actually is through a series of strange dreams.
From here on, the action starts to unfold and you will be returning to your home planet in order to save your people while working your way through a number of traditional platform levels and puzzles.
One must know that this free download version has not been updated, the game having the same 90's vibe.
