Blacklight: Retribution, the popular free-to-play online first-person shooter from Zombie Studios, has been confirmed for the PlayStation 4 next-gen console, with the developer saying that the full game will make its way onto the device and even released a special video with it.

Sony wants its customers to get used to free-to-play experiences and released a couple of great titles on the PS3, like DC Universe Online or Free Realms.

Now, it seems that this trend with continue on the PlayStation 4, as Sony has confirmed that it's partnered with Zombie Studios to bring popular free-to-play online shooter Blacklight: Retribution from the PC to the next-gen PS4.

The full game will be available on the new console, including its new Onslaught add-on which appeared recently on the PC and brought a new cooperative mode as well as new maps and weapons.

Check out the impressive gameplay video above, but it's unclear if that's actually Blacklight: Retribution running on the PlayStation 4.
