Dark Horse and developer Irrational Games have announced that they will launch a new hardcover book called The Art of BioShock: Infinite on February 27 of next year, just one day after the official launch date of the video game with the same name on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The book will have 184 pages filled with concept art that the designers shared during the development process, character designs that show how they evolved over time and stills taken during the production process.

The introduction to The Art of BioShock: Infinite is written by Ken Levine, the leader of the Irrational Games development team and the creative force behind the game.

Those who want to pick up the art book are able to pre-order it on Amazon. On launch, the price will be 40 dollars (32 Euro).

BioShock: Infinite was supposed to be launched in fall, but it was pushed back to 2013.
