Sony announces that the Big in Japan sale returns to its online store, bringing a huge list of classic games from the Far East to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable platforms, with slashed prices.

The discounts go live today (and tomorrow in the case of some individual items) and last for two weeks, bringing many classic games down up to 80 percent. PlayStation Plus members get an additional 15 to 20 percent discount on the listed titles.

In case you don't want to miss out on this incredible opportunity to get updated on some of the greatest Japanese games ever made for Sony's platforms, head over to the PlayStation Store now.

The PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system is graced by a bunch of Resident Evil titles, from Revelations to Chronicles HD Collection and all the others, then by a couple of Dynasty Warriors titles followed by some Ninja Gaiden ones.

There is also a strong presence from Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, followed by some Metal Gear Solid games, and a ton of Japanese role-playing games and fighting games.

For the PSP and PS Vita, the list of titles is similarly big, starting off with some games from the Final Fantasy series of RPGs, and going through Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, a couple of Persona games, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and Touch My Katamari.
