Video game publisher Bethesda now has a trademark for a television show which is set in a post-apocalyptic world, which probably means that it is planning to create a live action version of the Fallout series.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office registration does not offer more details on the show or on how it might be integrated in the Fallout universe, according to Eurogamer.

Recently, Erik Todd Dellums, the voice actor who starred in the third core game in the series as Three Dog, suggested that he was once again working with Bethesda.

Fans speculated that this meant that a new game continuing the story of Fallout 3 was in the works, but he could also be a core element of a television series.

Previous rumors suggested that Bethesda was also secretly working on an MMO set in the same game world.
