Bethesda has confirmed that it’s close to solving the issues that have prevented it from releasing downloadable add-ons for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PlayStation 3.

Skyrim appeared on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 last year and, while the RPG was quite popular, it was plagued by technical problems across all platforms, especially on the PS3.

This summer, Bethesda finally released the first add-ons for Skyrim, in the form of Dawnguard and Hearthfire, but they only appeared on the PC and Xbox 360, as the studio claimed that ongoing technical issues on the PS3 are causing serious problems for its development team.

Now, after revealing a brand new expansion – Dragonborn – Bethesda’s Development Twitter account has revealed that it’s “closer on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.”

While no other details were shared, you can expect some more info soon enough concerning Skyrim DLC for the PS3.
