The game is coming out in October, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U

Bayonetta 2 is one of the Nintendo Wii U exclusive games that Nintendo hopes will win their console some love, alongside Super Smash Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Hyrule Warriors, and Mario Kart 8.

The first game was well met by both critics and fans, but its sales were ultimately lower than expected. As such, developer Platinum Games teamed up with Nintendo and made the game platform exclusive, determined to bring more crazy action with heavy fantasy elements set in modern everyday environments.

Nintendo made a couple of reveals during this year's edition of the E3 game trade show, and then they decided to pull off a more daring stunt that would be in line with the insane action in the game and shared the demo from the Nintendo Treehouse live show.

The video shows a good chunk of gameplay, including a massive boss fight, and showcases plenty of the different demons that Bayonetta can summon at will, as well as her Witch Walk, an ability that lets her walk on walls better than Spider-Man (and maybe even Spider-Pig), provided, of course, that she's in direct moonlight.

The company revealed earlier this month that the upcoming hack-and-slash video game would become available in September in Japan, and in October in North America and Europe, so prepare for some over-the-top action. And by that we mean fighting on top of jet planes.
