The development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts have delayed the announcement of the new open beta for Battlefield: Hardline for a long time and the teasing campaign from the two companies continues with a new image that shows some of the vehicles gamers will be able to use in the shooter.

The testing phase for the title, which is open to all those interested and available on all platforms, is set to start on February 3 and will run until February 8, with the studio saying that it plans to use the data gathered in order to make some more tweaks to gameplay before the full title is launched.

Since the first beta for the game was launched, Visceral Games has made sure that the two factions are differentiated in interesting ways and that includes how they use vehicles.

One of the major new modes in Battlefield: Hardline, called Hotwire, is based around stealing cars from the level and trying to stay away from enemies.

The first-person shooter is set to arrive on March 17 in the United States and March 19 in Europe, and Electronic Arts has promised that none of the problems that affected Battlefield 4 on launch will be present.
