EA is aware of the situation and is hard at work fixing it

It looks like Battlefield Hardline is experiencing some trouble on the Xbox One home console, and the devs are hard at working figuring things out.

Battlefield Hardline just came out yesterday, on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and some players are reporting experiencing connectivity issues when trying to enjoy the first-person shooter on Microsoft's latest computer entertainment system.

Publisher Electronic Arts is well aware of the problems, and developer Visceral Games is hard at work looking for a solution.

According to online reports, the problem isn't as bad as to negatively impact the launch of the latest entry in the Battlefield franchise the same way Battlefield 4's launch was, which is good, considering the time it took for that game to stabilize.

EA was no doubt pushing pretty hard to redeem the series in the eyes of its fans with Hardline, in spite of the fact that it doesn't share the military theme its predecessors have.

PlayStation 4 players have reported no such issues, which likely means that the problem lies with the Xbox Live infrastructure. Furthermore, the Battlefield Twitter page reveals that the connectivity issues experienced on the Xbox One platform are due to DDoS attacks, which means that things should be up and running soon.
