Battlefield 4 players on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One will soon be able to rent servers for the game's multiplayer mode and set up their own sort of online matches and encounters, DICE has confirmed.

Battlefield 4 launched last November, delivering a great single-player story and a really impressive online multiplayer mode. While both had and still have problems in terms of glitches and issues, loyal players are still enjoying the game.

For those who want to create custom multiplayer experiences by renting official servers, however, the only option is to play on the PC platform, as DICE is currently offering the rent-a-server option only to that fanbase.

However, while talking with users on Battlelog, one DICE representative has confirmed that the rent-a-server option for Battlefield 4 on consoles like the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One is, in fact, coming.

Unfortunately, no exact details have been given, as the DICE rep just told fans that they should keep an eye for an upcoming announcement on Battlelog at a later point in time.

As of right now, however, PC owners are still the only ones who can rent servers and customize their Battlefield 4 experience in all sorts of ways.
