The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are confirming that the Second Assault downloadable content for Battlefield 4 will be launched on February 18 for gamers who have the Premium service on the PlayStation 4, the PS3, the Xbox 360 and the PC.

The rest of the player base will be able to experience it on March 4.

The official announcement states that, "In a week, you’ll take a step back in time with Battlefield 4 Second Assault, featuring four fan-favourite maps from Battlefield 3 - Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman and Operation Firestorm."

DICE also reminds players that February is the Player Appreciation Month, which means that every day they log into the shooter will allow them to get a free Battlepack.

Battlefield 4 is one of the biggest launches of last year and DICE has pledged to continue supporting it in the long term via both patches and DLC.
