Microsoft has confirmed that this weekend only the multiplayer mode of Battlefield 4 will be open to all Xbox 360 owners worldwide, even those with Free subscriptions, not just Gold members. What's more, play sessions with developers from DICE will also take place on Saturday.

Battlefield 4 launched for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 last month and is currently getting ready to debut for the PS4 and Xbox One in the following weeks.

In order to promote the game's multiplayer, a special free weekend is set to debut in the next days on the Xbox 360 platform.

Console owners with both Free and Gold subscriptions will be able to enjoy the Battlefield 4 multiplayer without any restrictions.

On Saturday, November 16, special play sessions with developers from DICE will also take place, during which players can ask them details about the game, according to Larry Hryb's blog.
