Video game developer Beamdog announces that it is removing Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition from the Apple App Store and its own online shop because of an unrevealed issue linked to its publisher relation.

Trent Oster, the leader of the company, states on the website that, “Unfortunately, until this matter is resolved, we are unable to release the latest Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition patch or Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for Android.”

The development process for Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is also affected.

It seems that the problem can be fixed and Oster hopes that fans will stick by the company while it deals with it.

Those who have already bought Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will be able to still download the entire experience and play it.

The new patch was supposed to fix a number of issues.
