Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is the Steam Midweek Madness deal of the moment, which means that gamers can get access to the classic role-playing game experience with a 75 percent price cut.

The offer is available until Thursday at 4 PM Pacific Standard Time.

The Enhanced Edition of the title is designed to use a new and upgraded graphics engine and runs smoothly on modern PCs.

It also includes the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack and there are three new party members to recruit: the Calishite monk Rasaad yn Bashir, the wild mage Neera and Dorn Il-Khan, an evil blackguard.

Each of them has an attached quest.

The sale is surprising because developer Overhaul Games had troubles with the Baldur’s Gate license, which is held by Atari, and announced that development was stopped in the sequel.
