The teams at Beamdog and Overhaul Games working on Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition are announcing that the re-make of the classic role-playing game will be launched on November 15 on the PC.

The game includes both the Shadows of Amn base campaign and the Throne of Bhaal expansion, which means that gamers can reach the conclusion of the story that started in the first Baldur's Gate.

Players will also get access to four new NPCs to recruit to their party: Dorn Il-Khan, a raider that attacks the Sword Coast; Neera the Wild Mage, pursued by Red Wizards; Rasaad yn Bashir, on a quest to avenge his brothers, and a mysterious thief.

Their personal quests will take players to 30 new locations and the team is also adding The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay, a new battle arena designed to test the skills of even the most hardened players.

Gamers can pre-purchase Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition from the official site.
