The game's PC edition will just require a one-time activation

Great news for PC gamers that want to get the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations title, as Ubisoft confirmed that the game won't feature its infamous digital rights management (DRM) system that forced players to always stay connected to the internet.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed franchise is one of its most successful ones, even if the last few games made for the PC were crippled with an anti-piracy solution that forced players to always stay online if they wanted to play the game even in its single-player mode.

Now, with the upcoming Revelations title, which was once again delayed for the PC as opposed to the console editions, it seems that Ubisoft won't be including its horrible DRM system, according to Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Instead, the game will just require a one-time activation when installing the game and running it for the first time, like most other games for the PC these days.

Expect Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the PC to appear at the end of the month, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions are out next week, November 15, in North America, and November 18, in Europe.
