Barely has Assassin's Creed: Revelations been released in North America and already Ubisoft, its publisher, has confirmed that a special downloadable content pack will be released next month, which brings new characters to the multiplayer mode.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is set to conclude the story of Ezio, the protagonist from the last two games, while improving the multiplayer mode we saw in last year's Brotherhood.

Now, just as the game was released in North America yesterday and is getting ready for its European debut on Friday, November 18, Ubisoft has confirmed that its first piece of downloadable content will be out in December.

The Ancestors Character Pack includes four new multiplayer characters, the Privateer, the Corsair, the Brigand, and the Gladiator, each with their own taunts, weapons and stylized assassination moves, and will be released on December 13 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 edition of Revelations.

The DLC will cost either $3.99 (3.99 Euros) on the PlayStation Store or 320 MS Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
