The launch date for the new DLC pack for Asssassin's Creed 4, Freedom Cry has just leaked, ahead of the official announcement. The update will be available for download on Tuesday, December 17, on multiple platforms.

The content is featured as part of a Season Pass that offers a 20 percent discount on each upcoming Assassin's Creed 4 DLC pack, in addition to new single-player missions, weapons, skins and collectibles.

Freedom Cry is reported to offer more than 4 hours of content, in a single-player campaign starring a new character, Adewale, and a story taking place 15 years after the events of Black Flag.

The date appeared in an advert inside the digital issue of Game Informer, as reported by VideoGamer. The advert featured the logos of PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, leading to believe that the launch will be simultaneous on each of the mentioned platforms.

There is no word yet on the availability of the content for Wii U or PC users, and no mention of its price either.

Assassin's Creed 4 launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 1, followed on November 22 by the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC versions.
