Ubisoft and Sony have just released the first video with Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag running on the PlayStation 4 next-generation console.

The video shows off both gameplay footage, as well as cinematic cut scenes and even commentary from two of its developers.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is one of the first cross-generation games set to appear this fall, as the new title will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii U, but also on the PlayStation 4 and presumably on the Xbox 720, not to mention the PC.

Now, developer Ubisoft Montreal has released a video in partnership with Sony, in which its developers talk about the great new options that are included in the game's PS4 version.

From lots of smaller details, to a seamless experience that allows players to do everything they want without any loading screens, or the option of making the single-player campaign a more social experience, the PS4 edition is looking very good.

No other concrete details were shared but the footage does have some gameplay that's apparently taken straight from the PS4 edition of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
