Jamie Stowe, the technical director who was in charge of creating the naval battle system for Assassin's Creed 3 is now working at Peter Molyneux-led developer 22 Cans in order to help with the creation of Project Godus.

He will reprise his technical director position and will help with the completion of the project.

Jemma Harris, the head of production on Godus, tells Develop that, "Jamie joins 22Cans at a very exciting time and takes the role of technical designer on the current Kickstarter funded project Godus."

Harris adds that the new technical director has the skills to help with the development process.

Stowe also has experience working on Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising at Codemasters.

Godus is expected to use core strategy game mechanics that will remind players of classics like Populous, adapted with modern players in mind.
