Ubisoft has announced that the multiplayer servers for Assassin's Creed 3 across all of its platforms will be down for maintenance today, December 13, for a few hours.

Assassin's Creed 3 came out last month across many different devices, from the PS3 and Xbox 360 to the PC and Nintendo Wii U, offering an intense single-player and a top-notch multiplayer experience.

Sadly, the online mode will be unavailable today, as Ubisoft confirmed via the Assassin's Creed 3 Twitter page that, due to scheduled maintenance, the multiplayer servers are going to be taken offline.

The maintenance should last around four hours, but a concrete estimate of when the multiplayer mode will once again be online is unavailable.

Let's hope that Ubisoft will use this maintenance to stomp out any problems and issues found in the online mode of Assassin's Creed 3.
