Arma 3's second premium downloadable content pack, titled Arma 3 Helicopters, is coming to gamers worldwide on November 4.

As the title suggests, the Arma 3 Helicopters DLC pack introduces a pair of the flying vehicles to the first-person shooter game, in the form of the CH-67 Huron and the Mi-290 Taru, both of which are designed primarily for transportation of troops, cargo or light vehicles.

Each of the two helicopters will get a number of different variants and setups, enabling gamers to use them to fulfill different roles, but they'll serve primarily for logistics.

There will also be some VR training missions for players to get used to handling the helis, alongside five helicopter Time Trials, and an updated version of the RotorLib helicopter flight model from Take on Helicopters.

The DLC pack will be released alongside a free game update, which will increase the importance of logistics, among others, in order to make helicopters more valuable.

Developer Bohemia Interactive aims to add a new Support multiplayer mode, in which players are required to provide helicopter support in various Sector Control scenarios. Furthermore, vehicle passengers will have the opportunity to fire their weapons while seated.

Both the platform update and the Arma 3 Helicopters DLC will become available on November 4, 2014.
