The Entertainment Software Rating Board announces that it has rated the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the Rovio-developed Angry Birds: Star Wars, which means that the game is set to arrive on the next-gen devices from Microsoft and Sony.

The game was previously listed by retailers and by a Brazilian site, but the studio that makes it continues to offer no comment on the issue, according to Joystiq.

Those who own a 3DS, PC, PS3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U or Xbox 360 will be able to play it on October 29.

Angry Birds: Star Wars will probably be offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 once the consoles are out in November.

Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 can also be played on mobile devices and on the PC, using the same tower defense gameplay mechanics that have made the series famous.
