Hot on the heels of the announcement of Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Rovio has confirmed that the original Angry Birds Star Wars will be released onto all sorts of consoles this fall, including PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U, Wii, or 3DS.

Angry Birds Star Wars marked the crossover between two of the biggest franchises in the world, as Rovio made a partnership with LucasArts to remake its classic birds into Star Wars characters and deliver new experiences based on the famous movie series.

After releasing the game last year for the PC and various mobile platforms, Rovio has now confirmed that Angry Birds Star Wars will make its way onto different consoles this fall.

The target platforms are the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and 3DS.

The game will include a new competitive and cooperative multiplayer mode, 20 exclusive new levels, and over 25 hours of gameplay.

It will be released on October 29 in North America, and November 1 in the rest of the world.

Until then, check out a video above.
