14 DAY TRIAL // In order to capitalize on the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 yesterday, developer Rovio has just posted a special image with its upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars 2, using the classic collage that's been a staple of GTA games in the past.
GTA V has been eagerly awaited by gamers on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms and many were finally able to play it worldwide yesterday, September 17.
Angry Birds developer Rovio saw an opportunity to use GTA 5's popularity to promote its upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars 2 and has just posted a special image for its mobile title.
As you can see above, it features a wide array of characters from the game set up in the classic GTA collage and even uses the same font.
To show the friendly nature of the spoof, Rovio also mentioned on Twitter that "If you play one blockbuster sequel this fall play GTAV, but if you play two, play Angry Birds Star Wars 2."
Angry Birds Star Wars 2 is out tomorrow, September 19, for all sorts of mobile platforms.
