Activision and Valve have partnered up to offer a special publisher weekend sale on the Steam service for all of the games released by the large company, as well as a free weekend for the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for PC.

Activision just confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at the beginning of the week and unleashed pre-orders for the game across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Now, to get PC users on Steam even more interested in the game, as well as its other titles on that platform, Activision is running a special publisher weekend sale on Valve's digital distribution service.

As such, starting today until Monday, May 4, Steam users can take advantage of big discounts on major Activision titles. These include Advanced Warfare's Gold Edition, which features the standard experience and the Havoc DLC, but also previous games in the shooter series and a myriad of other titles. Among them, we can mention the Transformers and Prototype franchises, not to mention more recent indie projects like Geometry Wars 3 or Shiftlings.

At the same time, the company also allows all Steam users to download and play for free the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer this weekend. You can jump right into the online mode without paying a single cent until Sunday, May 3.
