Developer AGEOD Games has announced that it is working on a new wargame called Alea Jacta Est, which will take players back to the Roman era and will allow them to experience one of the five scenarios based on the most important moments in the life of the Republic and the Empire.

The stars of the new game will be the capable generals of the era and the emperors who preferred to battle their brethren in order to gain power.

AGEOD has created a complex command and supply system which shows how the hierarchy of command worked during the era and a new way to recruit units and create buildings.

Alea Jacta Est also includes a set of new wild card action for the battlefield and historical events with multiple events that enhance the replayability.

Alea Jacta Est will be launched for 19.99 dollars or Euro on the official site of the developer on September 22.
