Delivering review, news, some columns and a news selection

Our review schedule was pretty full this week as we take a look at: Injustice: Gods Among Us, the fighting game from NetherRealm and Warner Bros.; Signal Ops, an interesting indie title that uses indirect control; Lords of Football, a sim that deliver a unique look at footballer’s lives; and the Heart of Darkness review for Victoria II, a grand strategy experience with a focus on colonial matters and naval battles.

We also have the customary Weekend Reading features: one about motion control and Battlefield 4 and another about the Xbox 720 and Windows 8 and how they could enhance each other.

EndWeekGame talks about the way we spent our free time and we also have a selection of the most important news from the week that was.

On Monday, BioWare talked about Dragon Age 3 and about the way it would be comparable as an experience with Dark Souls 2 and with The Witcher 3 while another sources confirmed that the Xbox 720 wold be revealed on May 21 by Microsoft.

On Tuesday, Sony said that it already knew the launch date for the PlayStation 4, but would not make it public and an executive suggested that the device would be priced aggressively to reach a wide audience.

On Wednesday, a report talked about the Xbox 720 once again, with information about possible support for Windows 8, and EA Sports officially revealed the next installment in the FIFA series.

Thursday saw Valve deliver a new update for DOTA 2, introducing one new hero and new balance changes, and Warner Bros. talk about the inspiration for the new Batman: Arkham Origins.

On Friday, a new map pack was announced for Gears of War: Judgment while more information about the villains for the new Batman appeared.

On Saturday, a patch was delivered for God of War: Ascension and NIntendo offered information on its recurring franchise use of Mario and Zelda.
