The review list for this week includes: Game Dev Tycoon, a game that tackles the issue of video game creation, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, an interesting action role-playing game with some unique twists, and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, the digital distribution focused installment in the Western themed series.

We also have the customary two Weekend Reading features: one dealing with the promise of the just-revealed Xbox One console from Microsoft and another about the used game controversy.

On Monday, information leaked about a new Resident Evil title from Capcom which will be shown during E3 2013 while Cryptic offered information about an attack and rollback for its MMO Neverwinter.

On Tuesday, the Xbox One home console from Microsoft was finally officially revealed and the team offered information on its hardware specs and on the used game features associated with it.

On Wednesday, Microsoft sought to clarify the price gamers would have to pay to use an already owned game disk and Electronic Arts delivered the first information on the new Need for Speed game for the Xbox One.

On Thursday, video game publisher Electronic Arts claimed that the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft were one generation ahead of current PCs and the same company offered more information on how the Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 14 would work on next-gen consoles.

Friday saw Need for Speed: Rivals get official artwork and a number of new screenshots and Firaxis delivered a new trailer for the Brave New World expansion for Civilization V.

On Saturday, Microsoft offered more information on the used game controversy and the developers of the new Command & Conquer talked about the focus of their upcoming free-to-play strategy game.
